Supercharger-T3
The ASA T3 compressor went into series production in 2004. The specifications for its development were characterized by:
– a modular system shared with the ASA T1, using as many proven identical parts as possible
– a cost-optimized overall concept compared to the T1, in order to cover lower power ranges
– small construction volume
– large gear ratio (i=1:10) and thus
– the use of large pulleys to prevent belt slip
As a rule, the ASA T3 compressor is supplied with lubricating oil from the combustion engine via a bypass circuit.
The compressor housing can be rotated 360 degrees freely around its axis of rotation to the compressor unit. With its simpler design, the ASA T3 covers working ranges with lower requirements for pressure ratio and air mass flow. For this reason, there are no hd variants.
The T3 design with the T3-313 and T3-316 types reached the end of their product cycle in 2020 and were replaced by the successor ASA-T6.
