Compact high-performance gearboxes for test benches, research, and development

For high-speed applications, ASA has specifically developed its proven standard gear technology into high-speed turbo gears. The gears are designed for continuous operation at very high speeds and are used in particular in test bench, research, and development environments.

The Generation 1 version is designed for speeds of up to 110,000 rpm and has already been successfully used on many test benches. The newly developed Generation 2 is customized to individual requirements and achieves speeds of up to 130,000 rpm with significantly increased output torque. ASA is thus opening up a new performance class of compact high-speed gearboxes.

ASA HP turbo gearboxes are specifically aimed at OEMs, system providers, and research and development departments that want to not only incrementally optimize high-speed drives, but also conceptually reevaluate them.

ASA deliberately does not address the mass market, but works with selected partners with whom technical issues, integration concepts, and pilot applications can be discussed confidentially and on an equal footing. Early, close technical coordination is crucial, especially for very high speeds, continuous load requirements, and high power densities.
