High speed gearing

The proven spur gear of our compressors is also suitable for special solutions in drive technology. Whenever you ask for high speeds and high power density, the gearboxes are indispensable. Another advantage is the concentric arrangement of input and output shaft. This simplifies the arrangement of the components. The basic ratio is 1:15, the maximum moment at the input shaft is 150 Nm. This results in a maximum power of approx. 100 kW.

Application example: For the investigation of shaft dynamics at speeds above 100,000 rpm, a tailor-made gearbox in the quality provided by ASA is an important building block for a research institute.
