Welcome to ASA Kompressor GmbH, your expert for high-speed/turbo compressors. This division, founded on August 12, 2010, serves the industrial and OEM business within the ASA Group. Founder and owner Christian Stöber, Dipl.-Ing., and his team have over 35 years of experience in the development and production of mechanically driven compressors and systems based on these for the conveyance of gaseous media.

The ASA compressor is characterized by its form-fitting and consistently roller-bearing gearbox, which enables speeds of over 100,000 revolutions per minute. Its compact design, low weight, and high isentropic efficiency of over 80% make it unique worldwide.

Our production focuses on two standardized construction methods:

1. ASA T1 compressor, our high-end version with concentric spur gear transmission, generates mass flows of up to 2,400 kg/h at a maximum of 115,000 revolutions per minute. An expansion to over 3,000 kg/h is currently in preparation.

2. The ASA T3 compressor, our more compact model with spur gear drive, is designed for mass flows of up to 1,250 kg/h. The ASA T3 compressor will be replaced by its successor, the ASA T6 compressor, in the course of 2023.

In addition, we develop and produce different variants based on these models specifically for our customers, such as Alpina, Caterpillar, and others.

By 2022, we will have delivered nearly 20,000 units, which are mainly used in combustion engines, test benches, and special-purpose machines. Our customers include OEM manufacturers, Formula 1 teams, industry, the DLR (Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt), industrial compressor manufacturers, rail vehicle operators and manufacturers, research and development institutes, and universities.

The company is located in South Germany, 50 kilometers north direction from Munich. We are housed in a modern, spacious factory building that was constructed in accordance with the energy-efficient KFW 55 standard. We demonstrate our commitment to the environment with a large photovoltaic system on the roof of the building and heating the building with a heat pump.

We look forward to advising you in German or English and supporting you with your projects.
